On April 24, at the 2024 Lantu Automobile Spring Technical Communication Conference, Lantu Pure Electric announced that it has officially entered the 800V 5C supercharging era.
Lantu also announced the launch of the world’s first megawatt-class brand charging pile, which supports up to 8C fast charging, with peak power up to 1000kW and peak current up to 1000A.
Lantu has also optimized the design of the super charging gun. The diameter of the charging cable is only 2.8cm, and the hand-held weight is about 1.5kg. The official said it is “as light and easy to use as holding a hair dryer.”
Lantu has also launched a variety of solutions for home charging, including 20kW home fast charging, which is three times more powerful than ordinary home charging piles; 11kW wireless charging piles, charging robots, etc.
In terms of charging pile layout, Lantu Automobile announced the launch of the “Thousands of Stations and Tens of Thousands of Charges” plan, aiming to build a 6km energy supply network in the main urban areas of core cities. The first batch will be implemented at 16 stations, and the cooperative ecological energy supply will cover 95% of the cities.
It was learned from the press conference that Lantu Supercharging Station also promised to be open to all new energy vehicles and called on the industry to “unify protocols and share resources.”
