CCTV News (News Broadcast): The reporter learned from the National Energy Administration that the scale of my country’s dc ev charger has continued to expand this year, and the number of dc ev charger has exceeded 10 million.
The latest data shows that as of the end of July, there were 10.604 million dc ev charger nationwide, a year-on-year increase of 53%, including 3.209 million public dc ev charger and 7.394 million private charging piles.
In order to adapt to the rapid growth of new energy vehicles and alleviate the difficulty of charging in old communities, cities such as Hangzhou and Shanghai have built shared dc ev charger, allowing dc ev charger to move intelligently and find cars autonomously, and the utilization efficiency of dc ev charger has increased by 3 times.
To meet the inter-city charging needs of long-distance travel, cities such as Chengdu and Chongqing have built super dc ev charger on highways, achieving the fastest charging of “one second per kilometer”. So far, a total of 27,200 dc ev charger have been built in highway service areas across the country, basically achieving full coverage of all provinces in the country.
At the same time, in order to promote the development of new energy vehicles in rural areas, my country has accelerated the construction of dc ev charger in counties and townships. So far, more than one-third of the provinces in the country have covered all towns with dc ev charger. Among them, Lishui District, Nanjing, Jiangsu, Yuxi, Yunnan and other places have achieved “full coverage of dc ev charger in every village”.
In the next step, the National Energy Administration will accelerate the filling of gaps in public dc ev charger and swapping infrastructure in rural areas, promote the demonstration application of new technologies and new models such as community unified construction and operation and mobile charging, and accelerate the construction of a high-quality dc ev charger system.
