On July 2, according to the Russian government’s official website, the Russian government will increase support for investors building tram charging infrastructure, and Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin recently signed the relevant resolution.
The source said: “The resolution modifies the subsidy amount for connecting charging piles to the power grid, which can be up to 60% of the cost of the designated implementation phase of the project (previously the maximum was 30%), but shall not exceed 900,000 rubles. In such projects, the connection with the power grid The grid connection phase is the most expensive, so the implementation of this measure will further encourage project investors in this field.”
The national roadmap for the production, development and use of electric vehicles clearly stipulates the construction of charging infrastructure. It is expected that by 2030, electric vehicle production will account for about 10% of total vehicle production, and 72,000 charging stations will be built across the country.
The plan is implemented in two phases: 2021 to 2024 and 2025 to 2030.
The first phase plans to launch at least 9,400 charging stations, of which at least 2,900 are fast dc charging station. Another key indicator in the first phase is that electric vehicle production reaches a level of at least 25,000 units per year.
In the second phase, it is planned to build and operate at least 72,000 charging stations, of which at least 28,000 are fast charging stations.
A pilot project for charging infrastructure has been launched in 2022, and 65 regions in the country have participated.
Accelerate the construction of charging facilities in residential communities. Newly built residential areas are equipped with parking spaces, and each AC charging facility has a reserved power transformation capacity of not less than 7 kilowatts, and 100% has the conditions for the installation and access of charging facilities; research and formulate an action plan for the construction and renovation of public car charging stations in old communities, and work with Synchronous planning, synchronous design, synchronous construction, synchronous acceptance, and synchronous operation of the renovation of old residential areas; carry out orderly charging in residential communities and pilot demonstrations of “unified construction and unified services”. By the end of 2027, fixed parking space charging facilities in residential communities will be installed.
