1.Overview of AC Pile
AC pile is a power supply device that is fixedly installed outside the electric vehicle and connected to the AC power grid to provide AC power for the electric vehicle on-board charger. AC pile output single-phase/three-phase AC power through the vehicle charger into DC power to the vehicle battery charging, the power is generally smaller (7kw, 11kw, 22kw, etc.), the charging speed is generally slower, so it is generally installed in the community parking lot and other places.

3.Composition of AC charging pile
AC charging pile has 4 main modules from outside to inside: AC pile column, AC pile shell, AC charging Plug, AC pile main control.
3.1 AC pile column
AC charging point generally has wall-mounted type and floor-standing type, floor-standing type generally need column, column is an important part of floor-standing type charging station, made of high-strength aluminum alloy material. It is the support structure of the charging pile, supporting the important part needed for battery charging, so its quality and structural stability are very important.
3.2 AC pile shell
Charging pile shell, the main function is to fix/protect the internal components, in which the shell contains : indicator, display, swipe card reader, emergency stop button, shell switch.
1. Indicator: Indicates the running status of the whole machine.
2. Display: The display can control the whole machine and show the running status and parameters of the whole machine.
3. Swipe card: support the physical pull card to start the charging pile and settle the charging cost.
4. Emergency stop button: When there is an emergency, you can press the emergency stop button to turn off the charging pile.
5. Shell switch: the switch of the shell of the charging pile, after opening it, it can enter into the interior of the charging pile.
3.3 AC charging plug
The main role of charging Plug is to connect the car charging interface to charge the car. AC pile charging plug according to the current new national standard is 7 holes. It mainly contains three parts in the charging pile: charging Plug terminal block, charging Plug and charging Plug holder.
1. Charging Plug terminal block: connects to the charging pile, fixes the charging Plug cable body, and the charging Plug is connected to the charging pile shell from then on.
2. Charging Plug: connect the charging post and car charging port to charge the car.
3. Charging Plug holder: where the charging Plug is placed without charging.
3.4 AC Pile Master Control
AC pile master control is the brain or heart of AC ev charger, controlling the operation and data of the whole charging pile. The core modules of the main control are as follows:
