On November 30, 2023, Mercedes-Benz (China) Investment Co., Ltd. and BMW Brilliance Automotive Co., Ltd. announced the signing of a cooperation agreement. The two parties will establish a joint venture in China to operate a super charging network in the Chinese market. The joint venture leverages both parties’ experience in charging operations in the global market and the Chinese market and their understanding of the new energy vehicle industry to provide customers of the Mercedes-Benz Group and the BMW Group with seamless digital charging such as plug-and-charge and online reservations.
