However, due to the different market environment and demand, China's charging pile products are also facing no small challenges. In addition, local services also bring challenges, overseas private stakes account for 60 to 70 percent, customers will be more dispersed, and the service cost is higher."

"Overseas charging pile safety requirements are very strict, interface standards are also different, there are high costs, difficulty, long time and other characteristics." Liu Kai said with the example of product certification, for example, charging pile products exported to the EU need to obtain CE certification, certification application, data preparation, product testing, submission audit and other processes, certification cycle of about 3-5 months, certification costs about 500,000 yuan. The export to the United States needs to pass the UL certification, the certification cycle is about 9-10 months, and the certification cost is about 1 million yuan. If it is a utility side project, it also needs to conduct additional certification for suppliers and even get government access permits.
In addition, the research report of Industrial Securities also pointed out that the export products of domestic pile enterprises are mostly mature products based on the national standard, and first of all, the communication standards of overseas charging piles are inconsistent, there are problems of pile incompatibility, pile and operation system incompatibility, and secondly, European and American standards have higher requirements for the environmental reliability and mechanical strength of products.
